Returns

In our 80 years of doing business, we have very rarely had to deal with returns. Nonetheless we want you to know we have put in place some clear and equitable policies so that you always know where you stand when dealing with us.

It is at the discretion of ROF as to wether we provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.

Of course, if an item has a major problem you can choose a refund or exchange. A major problem is when the item fails to do the job it was intended for. This is when the item:

 

  • Has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it.
  • Is unsafe
  • Is significantly different from the sample or description
  • Doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.

Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.

If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement.

Proof of purchase is required for all claims (Tax Invoice/Receipt)

All goods delivered must be inspected on delivery and notify Rockdale Office Furnishers within 48 hours of delivery of any alleged defect, shortage in quantity, damage or failure to comply with the description or quote. We may need an opportunity to inspect the goods within a reasonable time following delivery if you believe the goods are defective in any way. Rockdale Office Furnishers otherwise presumes that everything is in accordance with the terms and conditions and free from any defect or damage.

For defective Goods, which Rockdale Office Furnishers has agreed that the buyer is entitled to reject, our liability is limited to either (at our discretion) replacing the goods or repairing the goods provided that:

1. You have notified us within 48 hours from time of delivery;

2. The goods have been returned to us at the buyer's cost;

3. We will not be liable for goods which have not been stored or used in a    proper manner;

4. The goods are returned in a condition as is reasonably possible in the circumstances.
